National De Jur Asembly of Fiji

Conscious Exchange

It has been no more than 100 years since money and commerce was introduced on Fiji. Before that time the people of Fiji were bartering their produce and goods as an exchange of love. Still to this day all people of the original tribes of Fiji are not allowed to partake in any form of commerce, and therefore the trade and industries of Fiji - even in the large tourist industries are conducted by immigrants and newcomers. The reason for this is that all commerce, monetary systems, government and agencies are constructs based on law of the sea and therefore are vessels created to remove the Sovereignty of the people.

To remain as sovereign, the tribes therefore have stayed out of all constructs based on law of the sea and remained faithful to their natural laws which are based on law of the land. For all Fijians it is crucial to understand the difference between law of the sea and law of the land. You can learn more about law of the sea and law of the land by clicking on the link below with the interview below with the Higher chief, Ratu SeruFoama Tuilomaloma.

As part of the Restoration Plan it is the wish of Fiji to return their country to a society without money and where all exchange of goods and services will happen as an exchange of love.
